Hello Panther Nation!  My name is Scott Uppena and I am excited to continue to serve the Royall School District as your new District Administrator.  I have lived in the Royall School District for 20 years and served as the Royall MS/HS Principal for the past 12 years.  As I move into the District Administrator role, I want to highlight a few things that I believe are crucial to the success of the Royall School District.

First, we are currently working on developing a future-focused strategic plan that will help the Royall Board of Education and Administrative Team make decisions that reflect the needs of our community and school.  The “Panther Plan” will help guide us in the development of academic programming that is needed for our students to be successful after they walk our doors as graduates.

Secondly, I firmly believe that the Royall School District and its employees are here to serve the communities of Kendall and Elroy the best way we can. We should work in unison with a shared vision to provide an educational experience that always puts the students first.   A school district exists to provide as many positive opportunities to its students as possible.  When students are involved in school activities and feel connected to the school, their outcomes and success measures become higher.

Lastly, I want all of you to feel welcome to contact me with any questions or concerns you my have about the Royall School District.  I have an open-door policy and will always welcome friendly conversations about the programming that we provide for our students.  I am excited to see where together we can take the Royall School and see the achievements of excellence for all our students!
